A Leitchfield man was arrested on multiple drug charges last week.
On Wednesday, Dec. 9, personnel from the Leitchfield Police Department (LPD), Greater Hardin County Narcotics Task Force, Grayson County Sheriff’s Office, and Kentucky State Police executed a search warrant at a Kegley Drive residence as part of a narcotics investigation, according to the LPD.
Upon executing the search warrant, officers discovered methamphetamine, items consistent with the trafficking of illicit drugs, and firearms.
Officers arrested 46-year-old Gilbert Decker, of Leitchfield, and charged him with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance First Degree (Meth), Possession of a Controlled Substance First Degree (Meth), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of Marijuana.
The above charges were enhanced by the firearm, according to the LPD.
Following his arrest, Decker was transported to the Grayson County Detention Center, where, as of Tuesday, Dec. 15, he is still lodged on a $10,000 cash bond.
Decker is scheduled to appear in Grayson County District Court this Thursday, Dec. 17 at 1 p.m. for a preliminary hearing.
