Grand Jury indicts nine

Meeting on Wednesday, December 1, 2015, the Grayson County Grand Jury handed down nine indictments.

David A. Lagrand, 54, of Central City, Ky. was indicted on five charges: Promoting contraband in the first degree when he brought hydrocodone into the Grayson County Detention Center; possession of a controlled substance in the second degree, hydrocodone; prescription controlled substance not in a proper container, first offense; operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs or alcohol, first offense; speeding 18 miles or over the limit.

The Commonwealth recommended a bond of $10,000 for Lagrand, with 20 percent required in cash.

Christopher F. Cilyok, 20, of Beaver Dam Rd., in Leitchfield, was indicted on four charges: Possession of a controlled substance in the first degree, first offense (methamphetamine); possession of marijuana; operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs or alcohol, first offense; operating a motor vehicle with one headlight.

The Commonwealth recommended a bond of $10,000, with 10 percent required in cash.

Timothy W. Hack, 42, of Spurrier Rd., in Big Clifty, was indicted on four charges: Trafficking in a controlled substance in the first degree, first offense (2 grams of methamphetamine); possession of drug paraphernalia; possession of marijuana; persistent felony offender in the first degree.

The Commonwealth recommended a $10,000 cash bond.

Dylan G. Higdon, 20, of Layman Rd. in Caneyville, was indicted on two charges: burglary in the first degree, and theft by unlawful taking or disposition of property – firearms.

The Commonwealth recommended a $10,000 cash bond.

Aaron J. Smith, 25 of Brandenburg, Ky. was indicted for flagrant non-support. The Commonwealth recommended a $10,000 bond with 30 percent required in cash.

Cody L. Haycraft, 23, of Kiper Rd., in Leitchfield, was indicted on three charges: Unlawful transaction with a minor in the second degree; possession of marijuana; possession of drug paraphernalia.

The Commonwealth recommended a $10,000 bond with 20 percent required in cash.

Lance J. Lacefield, 20, of Eveleigh Cemetery Rd., in Leitchfield, was indicted on two charges: burglary in the first degree, and theft by unlawful taking or disposition of property – firearms.

The Commonwealth recommended a full cash bond of $10,000.

Jenny Borland, 37, of Hardin Rd., in Leitchfield, was indicted on five charges: Possession of a controlled substance in the first degree, first offense (methamphetamine); public intoxication – controlled substance (excludes alcohol); prescription controlled substance not in proper container, first offense; possession of drug paraphernalia; criminal trespass in the third degree.

The Commonwealth recommended a bond of $10,000, with 10 percent required in cash.

Patrick B. Higdon, 31, of Peonia Rd., in Clarkson, was indicted for criminal possession of a forged prescription for hydrocodone, first offense. The Commonwealth recommended a bond of $10,000, with 25 percent required in cash.
