Just in time for the holiday season, Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center has begun its second annual “Festival of Trees” fundraiser to benefit the Grayson County Relay for Life.
Going on now through Friday, Dec. 11, the Festival of Trees, sponsored by the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center (TLRMC) Relay for Life Team, displays numerous themed trees and wreaths donated and decorated by volunteering hospital employees.
Themes this year include the “Have an Owliday Tree,” “Let it Sew, Let it Sew, Let it Sew Tree,” “Santa Tree,” “Silver and Gold Tree,” “Primitive Trees,” “White and Purple Relay Tree,” “Snowman Wreath,” “UK Wreath,” and more.
“The items are available through a silent auction with all proceeds going to Relay for Life,” said TLRMC Director of Planning and Marketing Bill Oldham. “The public is encouraged to come by the TLRMC front lobby to get in the holiday spirit!”
Bids will be taken on the displayed items until 12 p.m. on Dec. 11, after which time the trees and wreaths will be available for pick-up by the winning bidders.
TLRMC is located at 910 Wallace Ave. in Leitchfield.
