A Falls of Rough man was arrested on drug charges in Ohio County earlier this week, according to Kentucky State Police.
Officers with State Police Post 16 in Henderson, KY made the arrest as the result of an attempt to serve a bench warrant at a residence along the 800 block of Highway 54 East.
According to Public Affairs Officer Corey King, “When Troopers arrived, Mr. Wayne Moxley was observed exiting the residence and attempting to hide items outside the residence.”
When officers investigated further, they found two glass pipes containing a small amount of a white substance which is believed to be methamphetamine.
Moxley, of Falls of Rough, was arrested on scene and charged with possession of a controlled substance in the first degree, second offense, and buying/possession of drug paraphernalia.
Moxley was booked into the Ohio County Detention Center at 1 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 7 following his arrest.
He was held on a $5,000 bond, with 10 percent being required in cash, and was released on the same day after posting the required $500 cash bond.
