An hour-long police chase came to an end along Lilac Road in the early hours of Friday morning.
While little information is currently being released regarding the incident, it has been confirmed that one person was taken into police custody.
According to media reports, the chase began in Bullitt County at just after 2 a.m. and covered more than 60 miles before ending after 3 a.m. on Lilac Road in Leitchfield.
While information is scarce at this point, skid marks can be scene at the site where the chase came to a close, along with tire tracks through a field beside the roadway.
Kentucky State Police are in charge of the investigation, but calls to the agency were not returned as of press time on Friday.
