Motorists are advised to exercise caution due to crews working alongside the Western Kentucky Parkway.
A recent statement from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet stated that contractors began removing dead trees from along the parkway on Wednesday of this week, beginning just east of Clarkson.
The work zone may shift as crews make progress, so motorists should look for work zone signage, according to transportation cabinet representative Chris Jessie.
The parkway will be reduced to one lane of traffic in the work vicinity between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. CST on weekdays throughout the remainder of this month.
Jessie stated that “traffic impacts should be minimal.”
