There will be a Sewing Day Camp for kids ages 9-18 this summer at the Grayson County Extension Office. The camp will be taught by Certified Master Clothing Volunteer Barbara Stiles. The series will be held on June 1 and June 29 and July 6, 13, 20 and 27 from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. The series is free and lunch will be provided. The classes will focus on fabric selection, how to read and understand a pattern, sewing machine parts and functions and open sewing project days. Sewing machines will be provided. Advanced registration is required by calling the Extension Office at (270) 259-3492. You should park in the back of the building and enter in the West entrance door.
