Grayson County 4-H is proud to announce that Paloma Falcon was elected as the 2016-2017 Kentucky 4-H State Treasurer at 4-H Teen Conference during the week of June 13-16.

After a grueling two-day interview process to be slated for office in April, followed by preparations for campaigning and the campaign process during the first days of the conference, the hard work paid off as Falcon’s name was announced as the officer winner after Wednesday evening’s main event.

This is the first state 4-H officer for Grayson County, and we are happy to have youth developing leadership and personal skills they will utilize through life!

A special thank you to the Grayson County delegates (Camila Falcon, Morelia Falcon, MacKenzie Edwards, and Sierra Lyons), and Breckinridge and Hardin County delegates who worked on the campaign team supporting Paloma through the election process!

Be sure to visit Cloverville during the Kentucky State Fair and congratulate all of our new officers for this year—they will be donning their new green jackets!
