There will be a Grain Production Seminar on Jan. 11, 2016 at the Grayson County Extension Office beginning at 10:00 a.m.
The Seminar will be presented by Carrie Knott, UK Grain Crops Extension Specialist, Jordan Shockley, UK Extension Ag Economist, retired Extension Agent, Jack Ewing, and Grayson County Extension Agent for Agriculture, Whitney Carman.
You will receive annual publications on chemicals, insect control and variety trials at the program. Variety trials there were conducted at the Extension Facility for Education and Research will also be discussed at the Seminar.
There is no charge to attend, but please call (270) 259-3492 by 9:00 a.m. on Jan. 9 to make your lunch reservation. Please note the Extension Office will be closed in observance of the holidays from Dec. 25-Jan. 1. The Extension Officer will reopen on Jan. 2, 2016. Please RSVP in accordance with those dates.
You should park in the rear of the building and enter in the West Entrance door.
