Sims 50th anniversary

On October 16, 1965 David Murrell Sims and Ann Langley were joined in holy matrimony at St. Paul Catholic Church, of Leitchfield, KY, where they are still members.

Officiating was Fr. Richard Danhauer. Murrell’s parents were Tommy and Gladys Sims. Ann’s parents were Joe and Mary Rose Langley. The couple has six children, David Sims (Gina), Marty Sims (Angie), Tami Salmon (Billy), Gary Sims (Liz), Mike Sims (Jolene), and the late Sandy Risinger (Jim). Murrell and Ann have 12 grandchildren: Amanda Allison (Daniel), Megan, Holly, Joseph, Landon, Lauren, Haley, Taylor, Logan, Mason, Grayson, and Tristan. They also have one great-grandson, Tatum.

The family of Murrell and Ann would like to invite family, friends and neighbors to join in celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. The celebration will be Saturday, October 17 at 2 p.m. (CST) at St. Elizabeth Church Parish Hall in Clarkson.

No gifts are necessary, but if you would like to bring a card to share a fond memory with the couple, it would be welcomed and appreciated.
