The Leitchfield Woman’s Club held their regular meeting on Au. 6, 2015. After a month of vacation, the ladies are ready to get down to serious business.
The topic for the evening was education; the guest speaker was Doug Robinson, Superintendent of Grayson County Schools.
Robinson shared with the group some statistical data about the different programs the school now has.
Also, several organizational announcements were made, including Fourth District Summer Workshop on Aug. 15 at the home of Joyce Bell, working at the Grayson County Fair in September, and a Style Show in October (more information to come later.)
Delicious refreshments were served by the education committee.
The next meeting will be held on Sept. 3, 2015 at 5:30 p.m. CDT at the Jack Thomas House.
The group extends a special invitation to each and every lady who wants to make a difference in her community, asking them to please come and join in the fun.
