County employees and members of American Legion Post 81, led by Commander Shane Thomason, took down and properly folded the enormous American flag which was hung on the east side of the old courthouse on Public Square for the recent Freedom and Fiddling Festival.

The procedure required many helping hands and spread out across traffic lanes on Public Square, with County Judge Executive Gary Logsdon pitching in to redirect traffic around the ceremonial folding of the flag.
