With Christmas just around the corner, The Grayson County News-Gazette will once again be printing a special holiday edition featuring photos of local little ones and letters to Santa.
This year we are also happy to be offering something new - a ‘Holiday Memories’ section to pay tribute to those loved ones who cannot be with us for the holidays.
Our annual special section will be included in our December 21 edition of The News-Gazette. As usual, parents and grandparents are welcome to send in a photo of their little “Holiday Angels,” along with the child/children’s name(s) and the names of parents, siblings and/or grandparents which they would like to be included.
“Baby’s First Christmas” pictures will also be included again this year.
There is no cost for our “Holiday Angel” and “Baby’s First Christmas” photos. We ask that these entries be turned in by Friday, December 13. They may be dropped off at The News-Gazette office at 40 Public Square or emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Any children who would like to write a letter to Santa can have their letter published in this special edition as well. Letters will be accepted until Tuesday, Dec. 10 at noon in our office or via email.
Our new “Holiday Memories” section will include Christmas memorials to loved ones this holiday season. Each memorial will include a photo and up to 30 words.
The cost for “Holiday Memories” is five dollars, and the deadline for submissions is Friday, Dec. 13.
