Reporting to the Principal’s office

Submitted

When Clarkson Elementary third grader Mary Grace Jacobs spent the day in the principals’ office it wasn’t because she was in trouble.

She was the winner of the “Principal for a Day” contest held for the school’s fall festival. Thanks to her fundraising efforts, she got to shadow Principal Kerry Reeves from classrooms to the lunchroom, even getting to eat lunch in “her” office.

Asked about her time on the job and plans, Jacobs said she thought she’d like to be a principal when she grows up because, “It’s fun.”

Mary Grace is the daughter of Dean and Ramona Jacobs.
