The annual Fall Expo, a free, prize-filled event, will be held at the Centre on Main this coming Thursday, Oct. 17 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m.

Sponsored by the Grayson County Business Boosters, this event will give visitors a chance to mingle with a wide variety of local business owners and see - or win - a sampling of the goods and services that they offer within our community.

With booth space already sold out for the gathering, there are sure to be plenty of items to interest everyone in attendance.

The GCBB hopes to draw visitors to the Expo with fantastic vendors’ booths, some tasty food options, and door prizes given away every five minutes during the three-hour event. Some of the top giveaways this year will include an iPad Mini and a one-night stay for two at the posh Midtown Inn.

The group hopes that these events, which it hosts each spring and fall, will introduce people to quality local businesses, and encourage them to shop locally.

“Buying local is not only a viable option, it’s a necessity for the growth and future of our community,” is written on flyers for the Fall Expo, and since the GCBB’s inception, the group has dedicated themselves to growing our community by growing it’s locally-owned-and-operated businesses.
