Seniors lead the charge versus Muhlenberg County.

The Cougars hosted the Muhlenberg County Mustangs last night in what was Grayson County's last game of the season, as well as senior night.

In what had to have been an emotional game for the Cougar seniors, the team was able to use that as fuel to defeat the visiting Mustangs with ease.

It was another rainy affair last night, and field conditions were probably the poorest that they have been for Grayson County all season.

The team was led by senior QB Noah Bullock and sophomore RB Q'Daryius McHenry on the evening.

The Mustangs may have struck first, but they definitely didn't get the last word of the night. The Cougars scored 21 unanswered points in the second half and easily closed this one to finish (7-3) on the season.

Be sure to follow along on Wednesday for more in-depth coverage, which will lead us to the Cougars' next opponent, the Graves County Eagles, for the Class 5A KHSAA Commonwealth Gridiron Bowl.

Unofficial stat of the night:

McHenry rushed for 241 yards and two touchdowns.
