A Leitchfield man was injured after hitting an embankment, turning his truck on its side.

A Leitchfield man was injured last Friday after his truck struck an embankment, flipping it on its side.

Just before 8 p.m. on Nov. 30, The Grayson County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to the 6,000 block of Anneta Rd. for an injury accident, where they found a 2004 Chevy Avalanche driven by 28-year-old Trenton Stevenson severely damaged and blocking a gravel driveway.

There was only one vehicle involved in this collision and Stevenson was the only passenger in the truck.

Whobrey said that the truck appeared to have lost control, going sideways and flipping on it side, then hitting an embankment which flipped the truck back onto its wheels coming to rest in a driveway.

According to GCSO Deputy Rance Whobrey, EMS transported to Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center for treatment of lacerations to his head and right hand.

The vehicle sustained major damaged and was removed from the scene by Terry's Towing.
