Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center has announced its new partnership with Concord Medical Group to provide Emergency Department care for the hospital. The partnership with Concord will provide improved 24-hour Emergency Department coverage for patients in Grayson County and the surrounding areas as Concord takes the role of staffing and scheduling physicians in the TLRMC Emergency Department.

Concord’s goal is to provide the highest quality care for TLRMC patients by implementing creative new solutions that have proven to result in increased quality of emergency services. Concord’s commitment to exceptional patient satisfaction and clinical quality aligns perfectly with TLRMC’s objectives.

Concord has a proven track record of exceptional patient satisfaction, and focuses on lowering Door-to-Physician time and shortening the overall amount of time patients have to spend in the ED. Concord’s medical providers have been thoroughly vetted and understand the needs of communities like Leitchfield. The physicians are not only strictly evaluated and medically sound, but have the highest degree of importance placed on courteous and professional treatment of patients.

“We’re extremely excited to work with Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center,” said Kyle Sheets, MD, Founder and CEO of the Concord Medical Group. “Concord has always strived to provide the highest quality of care possible to the communities we serve. TLRMC’s commitment to increasing patient satisfaction fits perfectly with our mission and vision for the community in and around Leitchfield.”

Patients who have questions about their bill or service will have a direct line to a Concord representative and are encouraged to reach out to ensure that their experience at TLRMC’s Emergency Department is exceptional.

TLRMC began looking for a new partner to staff their ED in the last quarter of 2018. According to CEO Wayne Meriwether, Concord stood out among the different companies being considered.

“Customer service driven medical care is at the heart of Concord’s foundation as a practice group," Meriwether said. "Both TLRMC and Concord believe that thorough, clear, accurate and respectful communication with patients and their families is essential. We look forward to a long relationship that ultimately benefits the patients we serve.”

According to Sheets, Concord has helped clients increase patient satisfaction and ensure positive medical outcomes.

“From the beginning, our collaborative success has started by simply treating people right," Sheets said. "Concord brings the feel of hospitality to healthcare without sacrificing efficiency.”

The TLRMC Emergency Department was named a Level IV Trauma Center by the Commonwealth of Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services, Department of Public Health in February, 2018. The designation is reserved for hospitals that meet stringent criteria established by the Cabinet as part of the Kentucky Trauma System.

The agreement between TLRMC and Concord began on Dec. 31, 2018.

Concord Medical Group is a physician-owned and operated organization. Since its beginning in 2001, Concord continues to be a leader in quality Emergency Department management.
