Western Kentucky University was a popular college choice amongst the students.

Several local businesses and colleges around Kentucky set up at the Grayson County High School on Friday, Nov. 17 in order to participate in the College and Career Day.

GCHS students were able to talk to people from businesses to find out what they would need to do in order to work at that business. Students were also able to educate themselves on different colleges around Kentucky.

Students were required by the school to speak to at least one business and one college. The students asked questions about the business and college such as how to be accepted to that college, how many years of college the business requires and how much the job pays.

Many of the businesses and colleges brought props, candy and other goodies to entice students to check out their tables. The most popular business and colleges of the day included Western Kentucky University, Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center and the U.S. Marines.
